SKETCHES OF THE PAST
Creating art with code
This work was born during my stay at the School for Poetic Computation in the spring of 2018. One of the classes taught by Zach Lieberman (visual artist) was to explore the works of various artists such as Vera Molnár, Hungarian artist who is considered a pioneer in The art of computing and algorithm. Each student had to select a work, and then reinterpret it, using modern tools. Over time, I began to explore other artists such as Muriel Cooper, John Whitney and Bridget Riley, I was creating various sketches daily using code and then I gave them a body to survive, a way that allows them to be contemplated and thus not live saved in a Text file.
*I changed the frame rate (from 30 to 15) for every sketches for this website.
